Transition/Transformation in a student’s sojourn in a university; go together simultaneously – pari persu.
Transition is the process of moving through the steps/stages of the university i.e 100 levels through the final year level. On the other hand, Transformation is the process the student go through from the entry level to graduation level where an award of a degree irrespective of the grade is given to the student. It is the reward for taking the bold step to obtain admission in the university.
So, the transition period must be carefully handled by every student because essentially, they (student) are expected by stakeholders to exit the institution at one point or the other. Transition period can be quite eventful as so many activities will be undertaken by student in the process of transiting. Many of our students have fail to understand this very important period in their life. This period is most time capable to make or mar their life journey. As student you must be very careful to handle this period in your life time.

Which Means that the student’s stay in the campus is transient. Like the common say “Soldier Go Soldier Come Barrack Remains”

My dear students, those who fail to take the instruction and understand the university system and terrain will naturally fall by the way side. It’s worthy to note however, that those who did; will be rewarded for finishing the race in a grand style. Let us be conscious of the fact that, in the transition and transformation period; student must pay their dues just like every other endeavour. Pay your dues and take the award of degree that place your character and learning in fair judgment of the university.
As university administrators; we like to place on record that the management of the Anglophone Section of the university is pleased to have the current set of students in the campus. For which we have noted their commitment to:

We therefore implore you students to diligently carry out your transition and transformation agenda in the university in record time to enable you join others in the NYSC national assignment. The National Moving Train is in motion in your respective states and country, for which you must contribute towards its economic growth and development.

It was accredited same year to offer certificates, diplomas, undergraduate degrees and postgraduate programmes by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MHESR) in Republic of Benin.
